Appeals
Right to Appeal
Any person receiving a notice of a parking violation has the right to appeal
within a period of ten (10) business days from the date of issuance.
After the ten (10) business-day period expires, the right to appeal expires
and all violation charges and/or expenses incurred become automatically
due and payable.
How to Appeal
Appeals are initiated by submitting a written appeal to the Welcome Center & Parking
Services Office. All decisions are final. Appeals are made by submitting
an appeals form (http://www.basc1.com/parking/PDFs/appeal_form.pdf)
with written narrative to:

(Attach citation to appeal form.)
You may choose to appeal in person. Please indicate this on the form. For details, please review page two of the appeals form. If you are found guilty, the applicable fine must be paid in full within ten (10) days of the decision. Unpaid parking violations will result in a hold being placed on your records and/or other actions as deemed necessary.
How to Make Payment
Ticket payments can be paid via e-Parking (https://parking.cis.brockport.edu/parking/pk/cmn/index.php),
the Office of Student Accounts, the Welcome Center & Parking Services
Office located in the Conrad Welcome Center, or via this Web site if
paying with Easy Money http://www.basc1.com/parking/pay_ticket2.htm.
Penalty for Non-Payment of Fines
Applicable state and municipal laws and College policies apply. Failure
to respond to a Notice of Violation within the specified time limit may
result in a referral to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles for review in
considering the renewal of an operator’s license and/or a motor vehicle
registration as provided by law, deduction of unpaid fines from wages for
employees, referral to a collection agency, and restrictions in registering,
viewing grades, or receiving transcripts for students.
